Real scale
A model displayed at its true physical size, which is what makes AR useful for anything bought on fit.
Real scale means the digital product is shown at exactly its physical dimensions. In a viewer that allows a dimensions overlay with correct numbers. In AR it means the sofa on the shopper's floor is the size the sofa will be when it arrives.
Getting it right takes two things: a model built to the published dimensions rather than to look good, and a file that stores its units correctly, because a model exported in centimetres and read as metres is a hundred times too big. Good pipelines check both before a model goes live.
Real scale is the reason AR reduces size-related returns and the reason an inaccurate model is worse than no model.
