3D CPQ: configure, price and quote on a 3D model
Configure, price, quote is how a manufacturer sells a product with many options: a representative builds the order against the engineering rules, prices it and sends the quote. 3D CPQ puts a model the buyer can turn in front of that. The buyer sets the size and the options, the rules decide what can be chosen, the price and the delivery date update with each choice, and the quote is a PDF they save.

A parametric garden shed. Change the size, the roof, the cladding and the openings; the price and the delivery date update, and the quote comes out as a PDF of what you built. The prices and times are examples.
What happens at each step

Step 1
Configure
The buyer sets the width, the length and the height, picks the roof and the cladding, and places the doors and the windows. Every choice is checked against the rules: sizes run in fixed steps, and an option the rules do not allow cannot be chosen.
Example price
€4,4903 weeks
- Deep porch+ €1,400
- Steel roof+ €170 · 4 weeks
- Double door+ €590 · 4 weeks
Step 2
Price
Each option carries its surcharge, and the total adds them up as the buyer goes. The delivery date comes from the part with the longest lead time.

Step 3
Quote
The quote is a PDF: the product as drawn, the specification, the price line by line, the delivery estimate and a link that reopens the configuration. The chosen options also leave as option codes for your CPQ, ERP or shop.
Where the rules live
Connected to your CPQ
If you run CPQ software, the rules can stay there. The configurator passes the chosen options to it, and CPQ checks them, prices the combination and issues the quote.
Rules in the configurator
If you do not run CPQ, we set the rules in the configurator: the allowed combinations, a surcharge per option and a lead time per part. The shed on this page works that way, quote included.

Case study
Sweef sells a modular sofa with thousands of combinations from one product page
The customer builds the sofa from modules, fabrics and legs, and orders the combination they see. Built from 3D Sweef already had in house.

Price
From $20 per model per month
Configurator work sits in the Value plan, with the 3D asset, hosting, updates and implementation included. Products that resize to measurements, like the shed, and ranges that build up from modules are a bigger build and are quoted separately.
