Free 3D product renders from a GLB file
Upload a GLB and get studio renders of your product: four angles, each as a JPG on white and as a transparent PNG, and a 360 video of the product turning. The renders are 2000 by 2000 pixels without a watermark, so they can go straight onto your product pages. Free studio renders usually take 20 to 40 minutes. We email them to you.
Drop your GLB file here
Up to 50 MB. We check the file in your browser first, so a file that can’t be rendered is never sent.
Only FBX, OBJ or CAD files? Send the product link through the form below and we ask for the files when we reply.
What you get
Four product renders and a 360 video from one GLB
Four renders at the GS1 angles
Front, front left, front right and back, each seen slightly from above. These are the views the GS1 standard for product images asks for. Each render is 2000 by 2000 pixels.
On white and as transparent PNGs
Every angle comes as a JPG on pure white, with a soft shadow where the product meets the floor, and as a PNG with a transparent background that you can place on any colour or scene.
A 360 video and 36 stills
The product turns once in a square MP4 of 1080 by 1080 pixels that loops on its own. The 36 stills are the frames for a 360 product spin viewer.
Using the files
How e-commerce and 3D teams use the renders
- JPGs on white
- The main image and the gallery on a product page, and the pictures for marketplace listings.
- Transparent PNGs
- Banners, category pages, newsletters and ads, on your own background.
- 360 video
- A looping clip next to the photos, or a social post that shows the whole product.
- 36 stills
- A 360 product spin that shoppers turn by dragging.
- For a 3D team
- A studio render of a model before it goes to a client or a website, and a set of pictures to send with the file.
Render or screenshot
How a studio render differs from a screenshot of a 3D model
Free tools that turn a 3D model into an image usually take a screenshot of it in a browser viewer. A viewer draws the model live, so its light is kept simple and the product often floats without a shadow. A render calculates how the studio light falls on the product and bounces between its surfaces, so the picture looks like a product photo.
A soft shadow under every product
Each render has a soft shadow where the product meets the floor, the way a product photographed on white has one.
Materials you can tell apart
Metal and glass reflect the studio around them, and wood and fabric show the texture the model was built with.
The same look across your catalogue
Every file gets the same studio, camera height, framing and shadow. Products rendered months apart still match on a category page.
Our glossary entry on 3D rendering explains how renders compare with the live 3D in a product viewer.
How it works
How to render a 3D model online for free
- Step 1
Upload the GLB
Drop a file of up to 50 MB. We check it in your browser first, so a file that can't be rendered never waits in the queue.
- Step 2
Confirm by email
Click the link in the email we send you, and your file joins the render queue.
- Step 3
We render it
Most renders are ready in 20 to 40 minutes. You can close the page or look around the site meanwhile.
- Step 4
Download
We email you the renders and the video, with a link to download them all at once. They are kept for 7 days.
Not sure the file is ready? The 3D model checker reads it in your browser and tells you what to fix.
For your catalogue
Renders and 3D for your whole catalogue
For a full range, the CharpstAR platform renders every product to one studio look, and the models go on your product pages in a 3D viewer with AR.
Every product in one studio look
Your team can start new renders on the platform whenever a product or a colour is added, and they match the renders already online.
A 3D viewer with AR
The model goes on the product page too, where shoppers turn it and place it in their own room at its real size. It takes one line of code on Shopify, Shopware, Magento, WooCommerce or your own build.
3D models built for you
We build the model from photos, measurements or drawings of the product. CAD files help but are not required.
A 3D viewer with AR for your catalogue starts on our Basic plan, from $10 per product a month for 100 products or more. The Value plan, from $20 per model a month, adds rendered product images and a 360 render viewer. The plans are on the prices page, and your first product is free.
