Dimensions overlay
Measurement lines drawn on a 3D model in the viewer, showing real product dimensions.
A dimensions overlay draws the width, depth and height of a product on the model itself, as lines with labels, and keeps them attached as the model turns. It replaces the specification table with something a shopper can see, and because the numbers come from the model's real scale they cannot disagree with the AR view.
It is one of the two features shoppers use most in a furniture viewer, the other being the AR button, because size is the question. Good overlays can be switched on and off so they do not clutter the product shot, and show the units the market expects.
